List Biotherapeutics, Inc. (List Bio), develops live biotherapeutics harnessing bacteria to create a healthier world.
List Bio is investing $125 million in a 120k square feet, state-of-the-art microbiome manufacturing facility. This new facility based in Fishers, Indiana, will offer an end-to-end manufacturing solution from early-stage development to late-stage clinical trials and commercialization.
Once established, the facility will be home to more than 200 employees and will create the platform to position List Bio as the premier CDMO in their field.

In partnership with the team at List Bio, it is our great pleasure to be leading the search for a Director of Business Development to play a lead role in the growth of their customer base and strategic goals.
The use of microbiome and live bacteria in therapeutics is a hot topic and List Bio have ambitious goals in mind.
As Director of Business Development, you will drive and coordinate commercial activities targeted at potential Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology customers, early-stage development to late-stage clinical trials and commercialization.
The successful candidate will relish the opportunity to develop new business. They will cultivate strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers and develop an excellent knowledge of target customer organizations.
Working across the company service lines to cross-promote and respond to RFPs, this role requires an individual who works effectively in a matrix, international organization where they can create solutions using multiple services.
Developing short and long-term sales and marketing strategies, the Director will also undertake operational activities such as attending, participating, and speaking at trade shows and industry conferences.
This is an entrepreneurial environment, so the ability to manage multiple tasks and switch between strategic and operational is essential.
Who are you?
It is likely candidates will hold a degree in a relevant subject matter or have qualification by virtue of extensive experience in a closely related field.
As a minimum candidates will bring proven experience from the biotech, pharmaceutical or drug development sector, with at least 5 years expertise in CDMO sales development experience. If you have experience working with bacteria, microbiome, or biologics it would be an advantage.
With excellent business acumen and a strategic mindset, individuals will have a proven track record at developing mid-level and high-level contacts, within pharmaceutical and/or bio-pharmaceutical sectors.
Ambition, an entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to thrive in a fast paced, evolving environment is essential for an applicant. As this is a remote role, self-discipline, attention to detail and drive to achieve multiple deadlines are a given.
