Our client is at the cutting edge of their field. Working with live biotherapeutics, they are harnessing bacterial science to create a healthier world.
With a 17-acre site secured, our client is building a 120k square feet, greenfield site that will contain state of the art technology, and once fully operational be home to more than 200 people. The site will create the platform to position themselves as the premier CDMO in the field.
In support of this incredible project, we are looking to secure the services of a skilled Director of Facility & Engineering.
The successful appointment will play a lead role in the construction of our client’s bulk biological drug substance manufacturing plant, intended for phase 3 and commercial level manufacture of live biotherapeutic products (LBP).
Interest is welcomed from those who have had practical hands-on leadership of new facility construction. Such skilled professionals, will bring demonstrable expertise and experience in:
- New site design & construction to GMP specification
- Equipment & utility specification, installation, commissioning, and qualification
- Vendor and partner management, including outside agencies such as OSHA, MIOSHA, and local and state health departments as required
- Health, safety, and environment program management
- Development and management of site program for routine maintenance and continuous improvement
With a relevant technical education and complimentary experience developed in biological or pharmaceutical commercial manufacturing, you will be a skilled project manager with excellent leadership skills, and proactive approach to objectives.
