QC Chemist

After building a world-class CDMO for injectable drugs in Fishers, Indiana, they are looking for a sharp-minded individual to join them in contributing towards a better path to market for life-saving drugs.

What

As QC Chemist, you will partner with QC leadership to identify analytical needs, solve complex problems, and deliver solutions for various routine and non-routine processes. Main responsibilities include:

• Support development of a world-class QC chemistry platform by leveraging expertise to launch instrumentation, laboratory workflows, and procedures that adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Execute, at a minimum, tests for HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, TOC, particulate matter, FTIR, wet chemistry (e.g. pH, conductivity, osmometry, etc.), in support of drug product lot release testing, stability testing, analytical method transfer, and analytical method validation.
• Develop and execute protocols for method transfers, method validations, stability studies, cleaning validations and any other non-routine testing required

You

Ideally candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline. You will also be an established chemist with experience in a CDMO or similar setting. Experience with biological assays such as ELISA or capillary electrophoresis would be beneficial.
