Senior Calibration Technician

The Sr Calibration Tech will be a highly motivated key individual contributor within the Facilities and Engineering Department, and will focus on ensuring safe operation of equipment and calibration of instruments.

What?

• Maintain, inspect, and calibrate all instruments throughout the facility including, but not limited to: HVAC, Water-for-injection (WFI) system, compressed gasses, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, plant steam / chilled water systems and laboratory instruments (as required).
• Define calibration intervals and ranges, implement and develop the Calibration Engineering budget, and schedule/ coordinate all 3rd party calibration activities.
• Communicate CAPAs across functions, and define solutions to minimize downtime and prevent recurrence. 

You?

Ideally, candidates will have a relevant Associates degree with technical training, as well as 3+ years of instrument calibration/ troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment. This role will include working flexible hours / doing overtime in order to ensure production facility coverage. Sterile pharma manufacturing experience with cGMP knowledge is preferred but not essential.
