Inside Sales Executive – Drug Product CDMO

United States – Remote/Hybrid/Office

Our customer is a leading CDMO with particle expertise in sterile fill finish. With state-of-the-art facilities and an exciting growth strategy underway, they have impressive partnerships in place with major pharmaceutical companies to bring life-changing therapies to patients.

In support of the growth, they wish to appoint motivated Inside Sales professional to play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and promoting their suite of development and manufacturing services.

Key responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

Business Development

  • Prospect, qualify, and generate new sales leads through targeted outbound campaigns, industry research, and networking.
  • Working closely with experienced business development leaders feeding them qualified leads that you will develop in tandem with them to generate customer commitments.

Client Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely responses and personalized solutions to address their requirements.
  • Conduct virtual meetings, product demonstrations, and facility tours to educate clients on our capabilities and value proposition.

Pipeline Management

  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and forecast pipeline opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive insights.

The ideal candidate will bring a background from inside sales, ideally from within a drug product CDMO, with a good understanding of drug product development and manufacturing processes, including formulation, fill-finish, and packaging.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in a related commercial or scientific field, candidates will have a track record of generating business opportunities as an inside sales, business development, or account management professional.

Candidates will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders internally and externally alike. An ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams is essential.

Proficiency in maintaining a CRM, and using data to demonstrate pipeline, insights and trends is preferred. In return you can expect a competitive salary with performance-based incentives and supporting benefits package.
