INCOG Biopharma Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Project Manager who is experienced in managing projects in aseptic manufacturing, technology transfers, API manufacture, and/or new product launches. Are you skilled in developing and managing integrated project timelines covering all phases of the manufacturing and development process and managing project deliverables, so that it is delivered on time and within budget? Job Functions:

  • Independently manage day to day projects and/or team activities and issues on global projects across multiple organizations, geographies, and business areas.
  • Plan and lead the cross-functional internal and external project team meetings and ensure team focus on key decisions and milestones and drive accountability to achieve goals.
  • Actively manage projects to achieve key performance indicators and proactively discuss any corrective courses of action with customers and internal team.
  • Identify and manage significant risks, develop mitigation plans, bring clarity and solutions to complex situations with high ambiguity, and lead the delivery of several diverse projects at the same time.
  • Work closely with Business Development to generate Project Plans from Project Proposal documentation.
  • Manage the project budget including creation and delivery of invoices and produce metrics and financial reports to evaluate project goals and conduct analysis to detect and review trends.
  • Estimate project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.
  • Work across projects to conduct post-project review and share lessons learned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant industry work experience including a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible project management work experience ideally in biopharmaceutical manufacturing services.
  • Proven consummate customer service professional; ability to forge strong customer relationships.
  • Experienced organizing and leading business and project review meetings with a joint steering committee comprised of senior leaders, representing customers and internal personnel including ability to answer impromptu questions and provide real-time updates.
  • Skilled at negotiation and ensuring common understanding of requirements and expectations.
  • Ability to respond to the unexpected quickly and constructively, while balancing tact, negotiation, and directness.
  • PMP/PgMP certification required, or ability and willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent is preferred.
