Our customer is a private equity owned, contract development and manufacturing services business supporting the global pharma and biotech sector.

In support of their strategic goals and future growth, the business needs a skilled Events Manager to join the marketing function.

What will you be doing?

Spearheading their presence at industry trade shows, conferences, and events, the successful candidate will have end to end responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing their participation in a full schedule of industry events.

The successful candidate will research, identify, and evaluate relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events for participation and sponsorship opportunities.

Once strategies and schedules are confirmed they will lead end-to-end project management, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and on-site coordination.

What you need to bring

With a bachelor’s degree in a related field, the ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, from within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

As a result, you will bring a proven track record in planning, executing, and managing successful trade shows, conferences, or large-scale events such as CPHI, Bio International and/or Interphex.

Candidates will possess strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Proficiency in event management software/tools and CRM systems, as well as the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally is required.
